Bagels are grilled to order at this incredibly popular, graffiti-tagged café, part of a chain with outlets across Stockholm and Malmö.
This branch on Hornsgatan gets busy at lunchtimes, but you can use the time that you spend waiting in line to digest the long menu, which includes more than a dozen different flavour combinations.
Fillings include roast beef, grilled chicken and air-dried ham, plus lots of healthy veg-friendly alternatives such as avocado and hummus.
Free wifi draws in the MacBook crowd, while concrete walls covered in abstract art add a cool, youthful vibe. Some of the pictures are for sale, but you shouldn’t expect to come away with a bargain – some of them we saw were going for upwards of 4,000 SEK.
Most bagels sold here come in at around 85 SEK, with salads priced just a little higher.
