A unique collaboration between some of Stavanger’s best restaurants, the Stavanger Vinfest invites locals and visitors to enjoy four days of pure wine appreciation.

Some of Europe’s best winemakers will be present, as well as suppliers and some excellent chefs – because after all, what is wine without good food? This event has helped Stavanger lay claim to being one of the best foodie towns in Scandinavia.

Throughout the festival, restaurants will be visited by wine producers and importers, so can you enjoy tasting sessions, snack breaks and opportunities to meet quality producers. You can also join ‘bubble tasting sessions’ where an expert will introduce you to different types of Cava, Prosecco and champagne.

If you’re a really big spender (this is Norway, remember) you can invite someone special for the ultimate lunch menu, created by the restaurants’ head chefs or a surprise dinner.
