Rally Sweden is one of Sweden’s biggest rally events, when thousands of spectators gather and huddle together in the freezing cold to watch fast cars fly through the air above crispy snow-covered ground.

It’s one of the many stages that make up the Rally World Championship. The event begins and ends in Umeå and drivers traverse routes winding through the surrounding countryside.

And if you’re not that interested in car racing, there’s entertainmant and other activities in the festival grounds over the three-day event that attracts around 200,000 visitors a year.
