The quirky Long Jar Festival, set in the heart of Slussen in Stockholm, is two music-fuelled days, featuring an eclectic mix of sounds, activities and Swedish culture.
Day one of the festival promises a high-energy blend of punk and rock, with Stockholm’s most avid music fans and rebellious spirits in an atmosphere charged with electrifying tunes. Bands playing include Marvel, Spiders and Bongo Riot.
The party continues on day two with a reggae and ska explosion, and acts such as Joe Yorke, Club Killers and Eskalator playing mellow beats and rhythmic grooves. Regardless of whether you’re a reggae enthusiast or new to the genre, the infectious vibes will have you dancing along in no time.
Beyond the music, the Långburksfestivalen also celebrates the “long jar”, a Scandinavian tradition with a unique long jar workshop, and “long can croki”, a game that tests your skill and precision!
