Copenhagen’s CPH:DOX, an international documentary film festival, swings open its doors again this March for all true documentary aficionados.
One of the world’s largest gatherings of documentary lovers, CPH:DOX has solidly carved out its place within the Danish film and cultural scene, and is now one of the city’s most prominent cultural events.
The annual festival sees Copenhagen cinemas filled with more than 200 documentaries from around the world. The films are entered into six different competition categories, each scrutinised by international juries, with themes exploring contemporary political and aesthetic dilemmas.
CPH:DOX’s aim is to show the latest and greatest documentaries from around the world. So, expect a dynamic programme which not only showcases works by acclaimed directors but also provides a platform for new undiscovered talent.
And if you can’t to a screening in person, some of the documentaries will also be screened online at PARA:DOX.
