It’s said that nine out of ten Danes own a bike and that they cycle 1,6 kilometres a day on average. So it’s not surprising they have Scandinavia’s biggest bike fair, with everything connected to the two-wheeled iron horses.
For the next year, Copenhagen Bike Show will be pumping up the enthusiasm for riding bikes – whether it’s in the designated bike lanes, through forests or up mountains on foreign ground.
This year’s venue will be Øksnehallen in the capital’s trendy Meat Packing District, with plenty of space around to test the demo bikes before you buy.
Various exhibitors will be on site to offer everything from bikes and accessories to biking holidays. It’s definitely worth wheeling by for new inspiration and the latest trends in the business.
Mountain bikes, racing bikes or E-bikes, you name it! For international visitors, it’s also a good opportunity to get a feel for the Danish bike culture, where cycling accounts for a quarter of personal transport when counting shorter distances.
